QUEST Ontario sends briefing notes to Provincial government

Toronto, Ontario – In September 2014, the Ontario Caucus Policy Working Group has started to disseminate a series of briefing notes requesting that the Provincial Government include specific language in Provincial Planning documents that supports the advancement of community energy planning in Ontario. The briefing note was disseminated to Ministers at the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, as well as the Office of the Premier. The intent of the briefing note is to open the door to a more in depth, direct conversation about what the province can do to enable to advancement of community energy planning in Ontario.
