QUEST Welcomes Ericka Wicks
Ottawa, Ontario – January 26, 2018. QUEST would like to welcome Ericka Wicks as the Director, Projects & Advisory Services.
“We are thrilled that Ericka has joined the QUEST team,” said Brent Gilmour, QUEST’s Executive Director. “Ericka has a decade of experience working in the environmental sustainability, energy efficiency, and economic development sectors and has extensive experience supporting businesses, organizations, all levels of government, and other stakeholders to achieve their visions and to benefit from the growing Smart Energy Communities marketplace across Canada.
Ericka is an impactful and experienced energy management and business development professional. She has held management positions with Efficiency Nova Scotia, the Town of Wolfville, and the Colchester Regional Development Association.
“With more than 400 communities, representing over 50 percent of the Canadian population, on their way to becoming Smart Energy Communities – the role of communities is paramount for achieving Canada’s climate change objectives, while also enhancing local economic competitiveness and resilience. ” said Wicks, “I am excited to be joining QUEST to advance Canada’s Smart Energy Communities marketplace and to support utilities, local governments and the real-estate sector to address their needs.”
