Helping found QUEST in 2007 and holding the position of Chair since QUEST’s incorporation in August 2011, Mike Harcourt has played an integral part in the development of QUEST and of Smart Energy Communities.
As former premier of British Columbia 1991-96, Mayor of Vancouver and City Councillor, Mike Harcourt helped British Columbia earn its reputation as one of the most liveable, accessible and inclusive places in the world. His focus on conservation and sustainable development – and his resolve to contribute to the transformation of cities and communities has played a significant role in promoting quality of life for those in Canada and abroad.
