Building Community Capacity for Climate Action in Nova Scotia
This Policy Brief was developed and submitted to the Nova Scotia Minister of Environment and Climate Change on behalf of QUEST. It provides key considerations on how communities can both contribute to and benefit from achieving the province’s Sustainable Development Goals and is grouped into five categories:
Community energy planning support
Supportive energy and transportation infrastructure
Access to clean energy opportunities
Alignment with the energy sector
A provincial retrofit strategy
