QUESTtalks: PCP Implementation – Advancing the Partners for Climate Protection Milestones

February 5, 2019 - February 6, 2019

Calling All Municipalities

QUESTtalks: Implementation – Bringing Community Energy to Life is the first event in the 2019 QUESTtalks series.

This event will be the first regional forum to recognize the efforts of Atlantic members of the FCM-ICLEI Partners for Climate Protection (PCP) Program and to support municipal climate action across Atlantic Canada.

It is a free, one-day event for all FCM-ICLEI PCP members and non-members (municipalities) in the Atlantic Provinces and will be focused on plan implementation, whether you refer to your plans as Community Energy, GHG Emissions Reductions or Local Action. This QUESTtalk is designed to help municipalities in Atlantic Canada acquire the relationships, knowledge, tools, and strategies to implement their plans. Speaker panels and tabletop discussions featuring utilities and experts in the energy and building sector, will build awareness, improve literacy, facilitate partnerships, enable knowledge exchange, and provide recognition to innovative strategies.

In the evening, a dinner and awards reception will be hosted to provide recognition of member successes within the PCP Program. There will also be an optional tour the morning of February 6, 2019.
