Communities spend years developing Community Energy and Emissions Plans, climate action plans, and economic development strategies. Yet moving these local energy projects from planning to implementation remains a critical challenge. And while much of the national conversation focuses on federal and provincial policy, the conditions that ultimately determine whether a project moves forward exist at the local level.<\/p>\n
To address this gap, QUEST Canada is convening an expert roundtable. Bringing together practitioners, industry, and municipal leaders to investigate the broad, systemic question:<\/p>\n
“What standardized project implementation <\/i>infrastructure, support systems, and shared approaches<\/i>, will help the next 100 communities move energy projects from ambition to implementation, consistently, energy-efficiently, and at greater scale?”<\/i><\/p>\n
